Access to reliable electricity is fundamental to effective healthcare delivery, particularly in environments where grid power is inconsistent or unavailable. PriVida Power Limited has successfully delivered solar energy solutions for healthcare facilities, supporting essential medical services with dependable, clean electricity across multiple states in Nigeria.

PriVida’s healthcare solar installations currently serve approximately four healthcare facilities located across different states. These systems are designed to power critical functions such as lighting, refrigeration for vaccines and medicines, diagnostic equipment, communication systems, and other essential medical devices. Battery storage is integrated to ensure continuous operation during night-time and grid outages.

Across the deployed facilities, the systems have generated approximately 484.24 kWh of clean electricity, reducing reliance on diesel generators and unstable grid supply. This transition has resulted in estimated carbon emission reductions of about 212.89 tonnes of CO₂, contributing to cleaner air, quieter facility environments, and lower operating costs.

The availability of reliable power has improved patient care, enhanced staff productivity, and strengthened the resilience of supported healthcare facilities. Medical personnel are able to operate equipment safely, maintain cold-chain storage, and deliver services without power-related interruptions.

By replacing diesel-based power solutions with solar energy, PriVida Power Limited continues to support stronger healthcare delivery systems while advancing sustainability, public health outcomes, and climate-aligned development objectives.
