Ongoing Projects:

Expanding Reliable Energy Access through the Development, Construction and Commissioning of Eleven (11) Mini-Grids:

PriVida Power Limited is implementing a solar-powered Mini-Grid programme across selected communities in Kogi State to improve access to reliable and affordable electricity in underserved rural areas. The project is being developed under the programmes of Distributed Access through Renewable Energy Scale-Up (DARES) and the Rural Electrification Agency (REA). The project supports Nigeria’s national renewable energy and rural electrification objectives. Debt capital funding for the project was secured from AllOn while PriVida and Saba Africa Energy Limited injected equity into the project.

The initiative comprises 11 solar Mini-Grids with a combined installed capacity of approximately 2.47 MW, deployed across Abocho Ojogba, Emewe Efopa, Icheu, Ochi Ofago, Offa, Ogene Ago, Ojamapunu, Oji Ofa, Ojo Agefu, Okura Ofate, and Onyakoji. System sizes range from 61 kW to 704 kW, designed to meet local demand and support future growth.

Upon completion, the Mini-Grids are expected to benefit approximately 85,020 people across businesses and community facilities. Reliable electricity will support improved education outcomes, enhanced healthcare delivery, expanded small business activities, and better living conditions for residents.

The project will also reduce reliance on diesel and petrol generators, lowering emissions, energy costs, and environmental impacts while supporting Nigeria’s clean energy and electrification goals.

The Mini-Grid projects are scheduled for completion and commissioning by the Q1 2026. Through this initiative, PriVida Power Limited continues to advance community-focused, sustainable energy solutions that drive long-term socio-economic development.
