Reliable electricity is critical to the operation of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), where power interruptions directly impact service availability, transaction security, and customer confidence. PriVida Power Limited has delivered solar-powered ATM installations that support uninterrupted banking services across multiple states in Nigeria.

PriVida has deployed solar energy solutions across 20 ATM sites for leading financial institutions, including Union Bank and Heritage Bank. Each system is designed to provide dedicated, reliable power tailored to the operational requirements of ATM infrastructure, covering cash machines, communication equipment, security systems, and supporting electronics.

Across the deployed sites, the ATM solar installations have generated approximately 527.24 kWh of clean electricity, reducing dependence on diesel generators and unstable grid supply. This has resulted in estimated carbon emission reductions of about 231.79 tonnes of CO₂, contributing to lower operating costs, reduced noise, and improved environmental performance.

The systems are engineered for durability, efficiency, and ease of maintenance, ensuring high uptime in both urban and semi-urban environments. In addition to new installations, PriVida Power Limited also delivers solar system upgrades, enhancing the performance, reliability, and lifespan of existing ATM power systems.

Through these projects, PriVida Power Limited supports financial inclusion by enabling round-the-clock access to banking services, strengthening the resilience of critical financial infrastructure, and delivering sustainable energy solutions aligned with Nigeria’s clean energy transition.
